I have Netbackup 6.5 running on a SLES10 Master/Media server. I want to update it to NBU 6.5.3 then to 6.5.3.1. When I run the NB_update.install script it gives me the following message:
There is 1 pack available in /root/temp1:
(* denotes installed pack)
NB_CLT_6.5.3
Enter pack name (or q) [q]: NB_CLT_6.5.3
ERROR: Corequired pack is not available in /root/temp1:
NB_6.5.3
Download and extract the corequired pack and try again.
Cannot install NB_CLT_6.5.3.
Can anyone tell me what does it mean by corequired pack NB_6.5.3?

This time, during the install of Netbackup client, I get the error message 'cannot communicate with the master server.... Do you wish to proceed'I have the master server listed in the windows server's host file because it is not in the windows domain. I can ping the master server from the windows server. (My master server is a Solairs 9 server.
Game Patch Download
The firewall on the windows server is the only firewall between the two servers. I've added the 2 required ports for Netbackup for both inbound and out bound traffic.
This was my first install and use of Windows 2008.
