Oh and les 30 megs to big for a 2gig hdd,hmmm lets see shall we do our sums.

2000 megs(2 gigs) divided by 30 megs=66.6 times

'I was hoping this was the one for the Dell Creative Card Marked CT4780, but it wasn't and instead crashed some of my other programs. Became a nightmare. This driver may work very well for someone else, but those looking for the Dell version, beware......it is not the right driver.'

'I loaded this onto a Dell computer with an SB Live CT4780. Dell's shipped drivers wouldn't recognize the card and niether would those downloaded from Creative's website. This loaded the drivers and the SB Live programs to provide full card functionality (that's why it's so big).'

'After trying a dizzying array of other drivers for my CT4780

this one installed and ran painlessly on my aging Pentium 266 Mhz

machine running W98SE. Don't forget that you will need amplified

speakers with this board as the output levels are quite low.

If you are upgrading from an AWE 64 for instance remember that

there is a separate control for speaker vol

'Easy to install, works beautifully and has a whole universe of modules with every function you might want. However, if you hear no sound but the bar is moving for WAV on the Windows mixer, check through all the settings and UNCHECK the 'Turn off speakers whn using headphones' box.'

'I begin to install this driver but when is finishing the computer restarts. When desktop appears it shows a message explaining that win98 has restarted the system in order to protect himself.

What's wrong??. My be the BIOS or Mainboard drivers (Chaintec)??

'I tried to install this dvr on an Asus/PII/533Mhz/98SE op sys for a CT4670. The self extract split the files between program files and windowstempseveral-directories. It ended with a small INFO! window that removes one of the directories in the temp when you click on OK. Nothing else happened, no directions, etc. Played with the setup files in the various directories a

'I have windows 98 se. mabey its my os, but this driver seems like it was ripped off the cd, becasue I recieved 'out of memory errow' which is usualy ro problme(read only)

I am sorry but this guy tried to rip a driver(s) off his installation cd (bless his heart) but you need to make sure you know what your doing, mabey like compressing the setup or driver file

Stability:
'I downloaded this driver to a temp folder, Burned it to a disk and used it to repair a computer I was working on. It worked absolutely perfectly on a Creative Labs Soundblaster 'Live Wire' CT 4670. A bit of time on the download (1HR 44Min. dial-up) but I had another computer to work on.

'I have a sound blaster live ct4870 Running a Pentium 4 Extreme Edition on a ASRock 775i48 Motherboard LGA775. With 2GB DDr2 800Mhz ram. When attempting to install the drive it comes up with an error saying there is not enough hard drive space I have a WD Blue 80GB and with 56 GB Free space.'
